Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. Because appointments are reserved specifically for you, cancellations inside the window are generally charged in full. 

We understand that labor, medical illness, and unexpected circumstances can arise during pregnancy and postpartum. For full policies and booking terms, including exceptions and Care Plan details, please review our Policies & Booking Terms.

We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment so you have time to settle in, use the restroom, and complete any remaining forms before your session begins.

Late arrivals will result in less hands-on treatment time, as we are typically unable to extend appointments without impacting the next client’s care. Your session will still end at its originally scheduled time.

This special first-session rate (for a new phase or service) applies to:

• Brand new clients experiencing Sparrow’s Nest for the first time
• Past clients returning with a new pregnancy (welcome back!)
• Clients transitioning to a new life season (e.g., first postpartum session after prenatal)
• Clients trying a new service type (e.g., first prenatal massage after previous reflexology, or vice versa)

Each qualifying "first" starts at $185 with personalized recommendations included. After that, individual sessions are $250.

Yes, in qualifying scenarios: 

• New pregnancy (welcome back!)
• New life phase (come back for an initial postpartum service after delivery).
• New service (ex. first facial, or first reflexology session).

Single visits are still available at $250 each (your first visit is always $185). Care Plans, however, offer the best value and the greatest benefits over time.

Gratuities are not included in our pricing. While never expected, they’re a meaningful way to honor your practitioner's care and dedication.

We want your care to feel accessible and supported. That’s why we offer several ways to make your plan work for you:

• Pay in full — enjoy extra savings

• Finance with Klarna or Afterpay —make smaller installments over time, with more flexibility than traditional payment plans.

• Use your HSA or FSA Card — we accept Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts

• Possible insurance reimbursement — while we don’t bill insurance directly, we provide super bills for you to submit. Many clients receive full or partial reimbursement this way.

• Friends & family support — we’ve created an editable letter you can use to ask loved ones to contribute to your care, or to add a Care Plan to your registry

Massage is deeply personal, and not every therapist, pressure style, or session approach feels perfect for every individual, especially on a first visit.

What we can guarantee is that your session will be:
• Safe and appropriate for your stage of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or therapeutic needs
• Provided by a highly trained, professional, compassionate therapist
• Tailored thoughtfully in real time based on your comfort, communication, and goals
• Conducted with care, professionalism, and integrity

We also encourage respectful communication throughout your session so adjustments can be made in real time whenever possible.

Because bodywork is subjective, we do not offer refunds based solely on personal preference. However, when appropriate, we may help guide you toward a different therapist match or future support options to help improve your experience moving forward.

No. While our specialty is supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, our care extends to every season of life. We also welcome your friends and family into our Therapeutic Wellness Plans, offering tailored, high-quality bodywork, skincare, and EFT for both women and men.

You may undress to your own level of comfort. Some clients undress fully, while others prefer to keep undergarments on. Whatever you choose, you’ll have privacy and time to get settled beneath the sheets. Our therapists are skilled in professional draping, ensuring that only the area being worked on is uncovered, and that your comfort and modesty are always respected.

Shaving is not necessary at all, on any part of the body. 

You don’t need to be freshly showered before your appointment, but a general level of cleanliness and hygiene is appreciated. Please do not come to your session directly after a rigorous workout without showering first.

There are benefits to both, and we will follow your lead. Talking allows processing of life events which may add to your relaxation. We will not give advice, but can be a non-judgmental, caring, listening ear for you. Not talking may allow you to drop into a deeper state of relaxation and peace.
